海外華僑福傳之旅(三)

來吧！一起啟程， 我們三往海外福傳到三藩市、西雅圖、多倫多、邁阿密和利馬去吧。
當地福傳工作者已準備就緒，
經過不知多少個無眠的晚上，
多少天無休的假期，
多少次無暇出席的宴會，
換來的竟是無盡的恩寵， 以及可步武的芳表。
土已翻，耕者待，
種子就是天主的聖言，
春雨就是聖神的臨在。
行動支持，祈禱參與
是次海外華僑福傳之旅。
若說：成功男士背後必有一位支持他的女人，
成功的福傳之旅背後定有默默為他們祈禱的信徒團體，此話更真！
宗徒大事錄記載了很多福音傳佈者與信徒團體聯繫的感人事實， 宗20:36-21:7有這樣的記載:
當保祿說完這些話，便跪下同眾人祈禱。眾人都大哭起來，並伏在保祿的頸項上，口親他及送他上了船。 當我們到達提洛，找到了門徒，就在那裡住了七天。日子一滿，我們便出發前行，眾人同妻子兒女陪送我們直到城外：我們跪在岸上祈禱，彼此辭別後，我們上了船，他們就回家去。我們從提洛到了仆托肋。

Join our third missionary journey!
Come with us to San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Miami and Lima.
The local missionary teams have done a wonderful preparatory work.
Many sleepless nights, many working holidays, many missed parties,
but lots of blessing, lots of grace and lots of good examples for
all of us.
The soil is ready, the sowers are ready. The seed is the Word of
God.
The rain is the gift of the Spirit.
Come with us either physically, or spiritually.
Send us forth on the wings of your prayer.
Keep us in the warmth of your hearts.
If it is true that behind a successful man, there is always a woman
(?),
It is certainly much truer that behind a successful missionary journey,
there is always a warm praying community.
The Acts of Apostles records many touching examples of the link
between the missionaries and the community of brethren.
An example is Acts 20.36-37,21.6-7:
When Paul finished, he knelt down with them and prayed. They were
all crying as they hugged him and kissed him goodbye.
When we reached Tyre, we met the local brethren and stayed with
them a week. But when our time with them was over, we left and went
on the way. All of them, together with their wives and children,
went with us out of the city to the beach, where we all knelt and
prayed. Then we said goodbye to one another, and we went on board
the ship while they went back home. We continued our voyage, sailing
from Tyre to Ptolemais.
