這天一早我們就到達會場Maidment Theatre

Fr. Yan blessed the stage before we start the setup and preparation.
今次佈道會出現了很多的第一次, 例如, 神父第一次在開始前祝聖舞台。

This was the second time we have an EV concert in Auckland. Auckland was our first stop of all EV journey which started 5 years ago. This year we also have many "first times" here. We have our first live broadcast through internet which include participation of some non-Catholic team members. We have our first live translation with a homemade FM transmitter which was avaliable to the Mandarin speaking audience. We also have our first live broadcast to a separate venue which took over 8 hours to setup.


一如以往, 我們為佈道會作準備。這是是奧克蘭的第二次佈道會, 所以大家都已有默契。 這次佈道會還特別準備了即時的無線電國語翻譯, 讓聽不懂廣東話的朋友也可以盡情投入。

As usual, we begin our concert with a prayer. Children from CCD also said prayers with us.

開始前, 我們一起祈禱, 神父還特別邀請了主日學小朋友作祈禱。

The venue opened to the audience at 6p.m.
The participants waited patiently in the lobby one hour before the concert kick off.
才六時左右, 已經有很多教友帶著非教友的朋友在外面等待。

The concert was conducted in both Cantonese and Mandarin.

在司儀作介紹之後, 佈道會正式開始,

The CCD children also participated in one of the program while some local youth participated in the drama.
主日學的小朋友也演出了一個環節。

During Fr. Yan's talk, live Mandarin translation was conducted for the Mandarin speaking audience. This enabled all the audience to participate simultaneously.

神父講道, 因為這次有即時的國語傳譯, 所以恩神父終於可以完全以廣東話講道。

About 40 non-Catholics came up to the stage to receive Father's blessings.

祝福禮, 神父邀請願意接受祝福的非教友上台, 反應非常熱烈。

The audience were so excited with our live band.

觀眾都情緒高漲, 樂隊也演奏得特別落力。

At the end of the concert, all the performers and crew members celebrated with a dance.

佈道會完結之後, 所有人都非常興奮。

We were treated to a Chinese supper afterward.

之後我們一起到一家廣東食店宵夜, 那裡的雞粥真的非常美味。

The day ended with a simple but prayerful mass.

雖然大家都很疲倦, 不過仍然先舉行了彌撒, 才各自休息。
