We all got up early in the morning to prepare for a day full of work. Fr. Yan took some time to play and talk with the local children at the retreat.
一大清早, 恩神父就和避靜院的其他小孩談天說地

After breakfast, a member of Legion of Mary took some time out to give us a brief history of her Legion of Mary and the retreat house. She also explained that the retreat house was God's answer to their prayer. The bishop gave them the land and each member put in time to help build the retreat house.
早餐之後, 參加了聖母軍30年的女士向我們介紹這避靜院的歷史:
原來這裡是由當地聖母軍各支團的成員一手一腳, 合力興建的

The first thing we did today was to visit the only Chinese nursing home. We sang songs and Fr. gave the elderly blessings.
早上我們去到「大溪地信義堂安老院」探訪, 和該院的老人家分享歌曲,
恩神父又說了「沒用的大樹」的故事, 之後還祝福了大家。

We then separated into two groups. One went to shooting and the other went to practice.
探訪之後, 我們分成兩隊, 一隊去拍攝, 一隊和當地的歌詠團綵排。

The shooting crew went walked around town and met some locals.
拍攝的一隊先到了市場, 還遇到一家賣菜的華人商戶, 他說明天也會到來參與佈道會

Tahitian children were friendly but a bit camera shy. We also saw some people on strik.
之後我們隨便在市中心四處拍攝, 途中還遇到有市民靜坐示威

We went to the one and only Chinese cemetry.
還有, 我們到了華人墳場拍攝, 這裡背山面海, 風涼水冷, 難怪深得歷代華人喜愛

We passed by the bishop's home. We also saw the famous Tahitian grown Noni trees.
回程前我們經過主教府, 附近種有大溪地著名的Noni

We returned to the Chinese Center for lunch.
中午, 我們回到天主教華人中心午餐

After lunch, we stayed at the center to practice with the local members. The local musicians also took some time out from their busy schedule to come practice with us.
下午, 我們繼續為明天的佈道會作綵排

The local drama team also rehersed with us.
當地教友演出的話劇, 演員都演得非常投入, 入木三分

After practice and rehersal, we had a short production meeting.
綵排之後我們開了一個簡短的製作會議

At 6 o'clock, we attend the 140th school celebration mass.
黃昏時, 我們參加了一所學校建校140週年的特別彌撒, 恩神父和蔡神父還參加了共祭

At dinner, the locals also brought us homemade dishes.
晚上我們和數十個當地的青年人共晉晚餐

Tonight, we spend our dinner with the local youths.
晚餐之後, 我們一起在青年聚會中玩遊戲

After dinner, we played games, shares, and songs with the youths.
當然也不會錯過和大家分享歌曲的機會

At almost mid-night, we returned to our retreat house. We had our brief sharing and prayer before we end our day.
晚上差不多12點, 我們才回到住宿的地方, 還要開檢討會
而明天我們要早起床, 參與7時正的彌撒
