(Ecclesia in Asia, 23) All those who are engaged in Evangelization work know too well the truth of this statement of the Asian Bishops'. Not only in Asia, and not only in some particular situations (where there is no other possibility of Evangelization), but always and everywhere, Evangelization needs the back up of "Christian living". Today's people do not believe in "preachers, but in witnesses". We thank all those who are willing to share with us their experiences of Evangelization through the silent witness of life ,and their understanding that Mission is contemplative action and active contemplation. 「靜默的生活見證仍是亞洲某些地區傳揚福音的 唯一方法。」 （教會在亞洲23） 所有參與福傳工作的人都十分明白亞洲主教團提出的這句話。不單在亞洲或某些特別的境況（福傳工作無法進行），「基督徒的生活」是福傳工作的支援。今日人不再相信宣教者，但需要活生生的見證。我們衷心感謝所有兄弟姊妹，他們願意與我們分享「靜默的生活見證」及「傳道是默想式的行動，也是行動式的默想」的福傳經驗。 |
