"at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord". "Lord" is the divine attribute of God. When the Scriptures call Jesus "Lord", they profess that Jesus is God. Jesus Christ Lord is a very short creed of the early Church: "if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans,10:9) |
